Obviously, Halloween will be quite different this year. I feel pretty sad that this is our first year living in a neighborhood, and we won't be able to welcome trick-or-treaters. I would hate to do anything that would put folks at risk, and so no trick-or-treaters coming door-to-door for us. But that doesn't mean I won't be festive throughout all of spook szn. Here are five casual Halloween outfits (not costumes) that I'm looking forward to wearing for the next two months.

For a scary movie marathon...

Whether with your significant other, family, or close group of friends, a scary movie marathon is obviously a must for this season. I get so scared at night, so I've been watching tons of scary movies and shows during the workday, when it's bright outside. I just turn off the overhead lights and instead light up a small lamp, a seasonal candle, my jack-o-lantern string lights, and my neon bat light. Plus I have sheer curtains in my office so the sun can shine through. It's not dark, but still moody and so cozy. The cozy ghostie jammies are the perfect matching set! Bonus points if you mix and match the different pieces with other pieces (the ghostie top with jeans, or the bottom with a solid shirt!), so you get the most for your money. I chose to pair the set with oversized cozy socks so I'm comfy all night. These come in a ton of sizes and are available for the entire family. I chose the men's set because it has pockets, and the women's doesn't. For reference, I'm wearing a large in mens. I usually wear a 2X or 18 in most women's sizes. I also really love the adorable jack-o-lantern pajama set too.

For delivering "boos" to your friends...

Have you ever boo'd or been boo'd? No, I don't mean like that time when you sang karaoke badly and were boo'd off the stage (and I'm so sorry if that's happened). I mean sending/receiving boos on your desk or at your front door. While some folks are still planning trick-or-treating (in a variety of ways - I'm a fan of the reverse trick-or-treating, which is basically a parade), I don't feel comfortable having folks come to my house right now, regardless of whether or not its just the front yard. But I am all for delivering some boos. So how do you boo someone? Basically create a gift bag or gift box filled with treats - candy, spooky socks, maybe some masks and sanitizer, and a cute card that says "you've been boo'd!". Stick it in their mailbox or front porch. If they're further away, mail it to them!

For this look, I was inspired by The Craft's Nancy. I went with a darker look - kohl-rimmed eyes, a bright red lippy, a choker, and some outlined cat ears. Plus my we are the weirdos, mister tee from Totally Good Time. I completed the look with super comfy palazzo pants, a leopard print belt (to tie in with the cat ears), and some witchy boots.

For running errands...

It's hard these days to put on clothes to run errands, but jeans and a tee is just as easy as pulling on some old sweats or leggings if you really think about it. I wear this fangtastic tee over and over again every spooky season. It's one of my favorites and so fun. Throw it on with some mom jeans, a fun belt, Halloween socks, and a black patent oxford shoe (my mom calls them my vampire shoes, lol). Top it off with a slouchy beanie, and a pop of lip color. Easy peasy, but makes you feel totally put together.

For outdoor fall festivities...

The one thing I'm excited for this fall is some outdoor fall festivities. I'm hoping to hit up a pumpkin patch and I've already got plans for my annual trip to the cemetery. I feel much more comfortable with outdoor activities, but you'll certainly still catch me in a mask, away from others, and with hand sanitizer galore. This outfit is perfect for any outdoor fall activities - so cute and comfy. And if it gets chilly, it's perfect with a pair of tights, and a light cardigan or jean jacket. Another fun Old Navy graphic Halloween tee, a cord skirt, thigh-high socks (scrunched down), classic all-stars, and one of those cute poofy headbands. There's nothing like being cute and comfortable!

For everything else...

I'm living in this outfit. Seriously, I want to wear it everyday for all of forever. These pocketed bike shorts are my current favorite item of clothing I own. And this tie-dye stay spooky shirt (get 15% off with code KAYLAKEDAVRA) is so comfortable, and seriously so cute. I feel very cool wearing it. And it matches my vans so incredibly well. You'll still catch me in this outfit by the time we roll into spring next year.

What look is your favorite? What have you been wearing this quaraween season?
