DIY Winter Tree Terrarium
Wednesday, December 06, 2017
I was gifted the items below by Oriental Trading in exchange for an honest
review. No additional compensation was provided. As always, any opinions
are 100% my own.
I'm obsessed with sisal trees for the holidays. They are so pretty and literally can fit in regardless of what your style is because you can get them in so many colors. I wanted to make a sisal tree terrarium, so I was pumped to work with Oriental Trading to make the one below. Plus it was incredibly easy and took almost no time at all - but still looks amazing. Plus it can be kept up after Christmas until the entire winter season is over.
winter tree lantern terrarium
what you need:
sisal trees in assorted sizes
craft snow
galvanized lantern
hot glue and gun
how to make it:
1. Lay out trees in lantern to determine preferred layout. Using hot glue, attach the trees to the base of the lantern.
2. Sprinkle snow across base of lantern until satisfied with coverage.
3. Close lantern door, and voila!
What trend are you really into right now for holiday decor?

This is such a fun and cute DIY! I have a lantern that we used in our wedding that we don't use for anything now, but I feel like I could do something similar and it would be perfect for Christmas!
