How to Decorate for July Fourth Like an Adult
Thursday, June 22, 2017
Decorating for the Fourth of July can be a thin line between looking like a children's gathering and a grown up event. Not that there's anything wrong with having a fun and over-the-top look (if that's your thing, totally go for it!), but sometimes you want something a little more interior design-worthy and less Chuck E. Cheese-y.
I've partnered with Oriental Trading to showcase an Independence Day look that is perfect for your upcoming grown up gathering!
How to get this look.
Hang an American flag floral wreath on your front door.
In your entry way, hang a cloth patriotic bunting, which you can personalize! (I used some twine to hang it across a bigger distance.). If you have an entryway table, or a fireplace mantle, set out a variety of red, white, and/or blue candles, patriotic standing stars, a hammered nickel initial, and florals. I used this adorable patriotic utensil caddy and stuffed it with faux baby breath stems.
What tips do you use to decorate festively?
I received free product from Oriental Trading in exchange for an honest review and post. No further compensation was received. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.
