Summer is busy and full of guests in and out of the house. Most guests that enter your home with most likely also enter your bathroom. While it come sometimes become a pig-sty in there (or at least in our's), it can be easier than you may think to update your bathroom using a few simple ideas.
Living in a rental home can sometimes be frustrating with the all beige everything, so understanding how to add some personality is incredibly important. Since I can't do any major remodels, like updating the sink, bathtub, or toilet, painting the walls, or re-doing the floors, updating decor is the easiest way to go!
Luckily, Target is the perfect one-stop shop for literally anything you could need for your home decor needs.
We live in a beautiful Cape Cod-style home, and while my style is somewhat quirky, I think the best way to describe my style is parts rustic, parts bohemian, and parts vintage. While we've lived in this house for almost a year at this point, some rooms never really got fully styled - so I figured it was the perfect time to spruce up the bathroom just a bit.
Before.
As mentioned above, our bathroom got to the point of being a little messy. I mean, just look at the counter space.
So, of course, Andre and I made a Target run (I mean, that's basically a daily occurrence anyways) to grab some new pieces for the bathroom, plus pick up a pack of Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & StrongⓇ Mega Rolls. These mega rolls are equal to four regular-sized rolls, so they last longer and don't need to be changed out as much - perfect for when you have guests over!
Make sure to check your Target Cartwheel app for some great offers on Quilted Northern right now!
After.
After our stop to Target, we are both loving our new updated bathroom. Literally, when Andre first stepped into the new bathroom, I heard him saying "wowwww!" so you know it was an impressive update. It's basically a whole new bathroom.
I just love our new bathroom update, including wire baskets, the cutest shower curtain (look at those tassels!), and our counter top organizers. We chose items with brushed nickel and hammer nickel for that rustic look! We kept the colors a neutral grey, which goes with our towels (we have grey, yellow and navy towels, which are the softest from Target!). It seriously feels like a whole new bathroom.
