New Holiday Ornaments: Ornament Swap Details
Tuesday, December 13, 2016I was lucky enough to be involved in not one, but two ornament exchanges this holiday season (one via Stephanie at Wife Mommy Me and another through Social Fabric), and let me tell you - I ended up with some pretty solid exchange buddies! Lisa from Pork Chop and Possum gifted me with a lovely Harry Potter ornament, and Erin from (several blogs, but most prominently) Home Everyday got me two Starbucks ornaments! Both buddies did amazing jobs finding ornaments that I absolutely love.
Our Christmas tree is host to some quirky ornaments, including pizza, foxes, wedding keepsakes, and Harry Potter. I would love to go all out with a giant, full tree with hundreds of ornaments, but it's just not in the cards for us at this point, and that's okay! And let's be honest, 99% of the ornaments we have, I bought at Target after Christmas for 90% off, so for mostly .30 to .50 cents a piece. (I'm telling you, I am so cheap.) So, I was really excited to participate in the ornaments exchanges and receive some awesome new pretties for our tree.
Lisa did great with her ornament, which is pieces of Chapter 3 (Letters From No One) from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I'm just praying that the Etsy shop owner isn't chopping up books and these are made from photocopies! However, the ornament is perfect and was wrapped so decorative and lovely.
Erin killed it with these Starbucks ornaments! I've wanted one for such a long time, but could never convince myself to spend $8 on an ornament for myself. She went above and beyond and got me two! So pretty.
All three new ornaments are happily living on our tree this year!
What is your favorite tree ornaments? What ornaments are you really lusting over right now?

Cute ornaments! Love the HP one. I have a Harry Potter & Dumbledore ornament where they're standing at the pensieve.
