Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris is hands down one of the best novels I've read this year, and it's Paris's first novel. I was so impressed, honestly. The book focuses on Grace and Jack, the seemingly perfect couple, but are they really so perfect - or are they hiding something?
Within the first chapter, I could definitely tell that something was off, and I was right to an extent, but the story is so much more bone-chilling than I could have thought. I read this book in less than a day, because I literally could not put it down.
Enthralling, heart-stopping, and terrifying enough to give you nightmares. I've never read a book that made me feel so afraid, and at times, sick to my stomach. I could not recommend this book anymore. Even when I got to the end, the last page actually gave me chills.

Read this book. You will not be disappointed.
