Book Review: Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris
Friday, October 21, 2016Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris is hands down one of the best novels I've read this year, and it's Paris's first novel. I was so impressed, honestly. The book focuses on Grace and Jack, the seemingly perfect couple, but are they really so perfect - or are they hiding something?
Within the first chapter, I could definitely tell that something was off, and I was right to an extent, but the story is so much more bone-chilling than I could have thought. I read this book in less than a day, because I literally could not put it down.
Enthralling, heart-stopping, and terrifying enough to give you nightmares. I've never read a book that made me feel so afraid, and at times, sick to my stomach. I could not recommend this book anymore. Even when I got to the end, the last page actually gave me chills.
I don't want to say anymore, for fear of ruining the story, but I will say this:
Read this book. You will not be disappointed.
