Our Small-Time Christmas Tree
Monday, December 07, 2015
We don't have a huge tree. We bought our tree together two years ago from Target on Black Friday for less than $15. We've added only a couple of ornaments over the years. We don't have kids, so we don't really have a lot of sentimental ornaments, and since we have a cat, we don't want to do too much.
Our tree isn't quite a Charlie Brown tree, but it's definitely not a large, full tree. I'd love to share our personal ornaments with you, and hope you'll share your's, too!
This one is our newest ornament. I made it from our wedding invitation and program. You can see the DIY here.
Both foxes, pizza, and the ceramic feather were all after Christmas finds are Target. I've been meaning to dip the feather in some paint or glitter for a more fun look. I got each of these for less than 50 cents a piece. I freaking love Target, y'all.
So, other than those ornaments, we've got some basic plastic colored globes (from Target's Dollar Spot, of course). Over the years, I hope to grow our collection, but right now I love the small one we've got going.
What are your favorite ornaments on your tree?

ReplyDeleteYES! Target is my favorite!
DeleteI am trying to track down a set of the harry, ron, hermione, dumbledore, and snape set. Do you know where you got them?
ReplyDeleteI've had those for as long as I can remember, since I was about 12 or 13. They're originally from CVS (at least my set has CVS stickers on the box). I found a set for sale here (https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m23741754674/) but they're kind of expensive. Anyways, that's the exact set I have. I don't know where else you could get them.
