In the words of Pitbull, every day above ground is a great day. It's true. Here are some of the great things that happened above ground this week.

I got to celebrate not only my mom, but Andre's mom, and all moms. I spent Saturday with my mom. We went thrift shopping and got some Mexican food. Sunday, we went to church with Andre's mom, and took her out to lunch. Andre had to work that evening, but overall, it was great to spend time with both of our moms.

I won a neat little prize pack at work. It had some neat stuff in it, and if you know me, you know I've got a ton of school spirit! I can't wait to hang up my pennant.

I got an oil change. I know, it's weird to be excited about, but I'm always glad when I can get some needed car maintenance done.

In addition, I washed my car! Unfortunately, I park under some trees at home, so I swear my car is now dirtier than it was before I washed it.

I got some good news at work. It's nothing major, but I don't want to say anything yet and jinx myself. So hopefully, I'll be able to share next week!
