Creating Rememberlutions for the New Year
Monday, January 05, 2015I saw a post on Buzzfeed the other day (you can find that post here) about how to handle the new year. It talks about how instead of making resolutions that will discourage you when you don't follow through with them, to make "rememberlutions" instead. Basically, "rememberlutions" are notes you write down about good things that happen throughout the year, and you place them in a jar.
I loved this idea, and Andre really liked it, as well. So, I bought a canning jar from the Dollar Tree, threw some vinyl letters on it and colored the jar with a sharpie. It isn't a perfect jar, but it was quick and really easy and doesn't look entirely shabby.
I made sure to place the jar on a shelf in plain view, so we don't forget to write down all our happy memories. I'm hoping to keep up with this and we can read our notes on NYE.
Also, the lighting in my house isn't ideal, so forgive the yellowness of the shots.
What do you think? Good idea? Let me know!
